Kershaw shows up at Cowboys-Lions game to support Stafford

Los Angeles Dodgers ace and native Texan Clayton Kershaw may be a Dallas Cowboys fan, but on Sunday he was at AT&T Stadium for a different reason.
The winner of three Cy Young awards was there to support his good friend: Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Kershaw and Stafford grew up together and played for the same youth soccer, baseball, football, and basketball teams. The pair later attended Highland Park High School, where Kershaw played center in front of Stafford, the quarterback, on their freshman football team.
Unfortunately for Stafford and the Lions, the visit didn't work out in their favor, as they fell 42-21 to the Cowboys.
