It's everyone's favorite Chris Sale joke.
Following the news of the electric left-hander changing the color of his Sox from White to Red, the classic cut-up-your-jersey jokes began flooding in.
The trade, though, had a particular effect on the American League East, so when Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash was asked about the deal, he chimed in with a joke of his own.
"Our marketing department can now figure out when to do throwback jersey day," he said, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
Of course, Sale is famous not only for being an exceptional pitcher, but also for cutting up the White Sox's throwback jerseys last season in protest of them.
