Aroldis Chapman was clutch for the Chicago Cubs in a 3-2 victory in a crucial Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday, shutting down the Cleveland Indians after being asked to take the hill for an unfamiliar 2 2/3-inning save.
The energy appeared to be pumping throughout the body of the 28-year-old Cuban during his appearance, but it was most obvious in the eighth inning when the flame-throwing left-hander struck out Francisco Lindor with a 102-mph fastball to get out of a tough jam, which was followed by a long and nasty stare towards the plate.
Chapman's eight-out save was the longest outing of his major-league career, in either the regular or postseason, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
