He's finally on the board.
After opening his baseball career in an 0-13 slump, former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow finally secured the first official hit of his new minor-league career.
In the fourth inning of Arizona Fall League action Tuesday, Tebow smacked a line drive to left field for the Scottsdale Scorpions, one of the New York Mets' minor league affiliates.
Tebow nearly picked up his first hit a day earlier, but his heavy chopper down the first-base line rolled just foul, to everyone's disappointment:
Tuesday's eventful single didn't amount to much, however, as Tebow was left stranded at third to end the inning.
