The sports world suffered a massive loss this past week when Miami Marlins' pitcher Jose Fernandez died in a boating accident, and the Miami Hurricanes football team will honor the 24-year-old this weekend.
Mark Richt's program will wear "JF16" decals on their helmets during Saturday's contest against Georgia Tech.
Fernandez, who emigrated to the United States from Cuba, was a pillar in south Florida, and it's certainly a classy gesture by the Hurricanes to honor his life.
