Price roasts Twitter critic for 'shortchanging' his salary
Adam Hunger / USA TODAY Sports
David Price was celebrating his American League division title with a little bit of snark on Wednesday.
The Boston Red Sox left-hander took a break from the champagne-filled festivities to call out a Twitter critic who said Price wasn't worth his supposed $212-million contract.
217 don't short change me RT @cambo512: @DAVIDprice24 You are a punk. $212 million! Act like your worth that much. Shut up and pitch well.
— David Price (@DAVIDprice24) September 29, 2016
Price's contract was actually $217 million over seven seasons.
