Giants' Johnny Cueto: Slated to start Thursday
Cueto (groin) will start Thursday against the Rockies, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.
Analysis:
The right-hander was forced to miss Sunday's start due to a Grade 1 groin strain. However, Cueto made it through his bullpen session Tuesday without issue and has been cleared to toe the rubber Thursday. He has been dominant in three starts against the Rockies so far this season (one at Coors Field), allowing just two earned runs while striking out 16 in 23.1 innings.
