Adrian Beltre doesn't abide by the rules. The rules abide by him.

In the second inning Sunday against the Oakland Athletics, the comical Texas Rangers third baseman got caught in a rundown.

Naturally, his percentages for getting to either first or second base safely were low, so he made an unusual decision instead.

In an attempt to avoid the tag, Beltre ran way off the baseline, but was unfortunately called out for leaving the basepath.
