Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Takes no-decision in quality start against Giants
Kershaw took a no-decision despite tossing six innings and allowing just one unearned run on three hits and a walk Monday against the Giants.
Analysis:
Kershaw struck out seven, his best total in his past four starts, an uncharacteristic strikeout lull for the dominant left-hander that is the result of limited pitch counts since his return from the disabled list. Still, Monday's performance brings him to 162 strikeouts in just 129 innings. Most amazingly, though, the walk Kershaw allowed Monday night was just his 10th all season, giving him an absurd 12.9 K/BB. The best K/BB among qualified starters this season belongs to Rick Porcello of the Red Sox at just 5.8.
