Francisco Rodriguez has saved the day for the 425th time.
After the Detroit Tigers closer shut the door on the Chicago White Sox with a 5-3 extra-innings win, he passed John Franco for sole possession of fourth on the all-time saves list.
He now sits behind Lee Smith (478), Trevor Hoffman (601), and Mariano Rivera (652).
