Mets' Neil Walker: Continues fine hitting Saturday
Walker tied his career-high in home runs, blasting his 23rd Saturday against the Phillies.
Analysis:
Walker hasn't missed a beat since returning from paternity leave. He was on fire before missing three games and has picked up from where he left off. Since July 27, Walker is hitting .440 (40-for-91) with three doubles, seven homers, 15 runs batted in and 19 runs scored. He has a little more than a month to set a new career-best mark and should be in the lineup almost daily as the Mets play for a Wild Card spot.
