A Boston Red Sox fan tried to make a strange statement Sunday at Fenway Park.
A fan wearing a "Harambe 69" jersey interrupted the game against the Royals by jumping the outfield fence and running onto the field. He was quickly apprehended by security and taken away.
Harambe the gorilla has become an internet sensation since his controversial death at Cincinnati Zoo on May 28. Harambe memes have taken off on social media, resulting in the zoo recently shutting down its Twitter account.
