Blue Jays' Aaron Sanchez: Throws one bad inning versus Blue Jays on Saturday
Sanchez allowed five runs (four earned) on four hits, struck out five and walked one in a no-decision against the Indians on Saturday.
Analysis:
Toronto had a 6-5 lead going into the bottom of the fifth, but Sanchez didn't pitch the required five frames in order to get the victory. He struck out the side in the first and faced the minimum through three, but he yielded four hits and five runs in the fourth. Sanchez is now 12-2 with a 2.99 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 132 strikeouts in 156.1 innings. His next start will be Saturday against the Twins.
