Lucroy hits 6th homer in 10 games with Rangers

The Jonathan Lucroy trade sure is paying off for the Texas Rangers.
With two more home runs in Friday's win over Detroit, Lucroy now has six total longballs in his first 10 games since being traded from the Milwaukee Brewers on July 31. The power surge is somewhat surprising for the 30 year-old catcher, who hit a combined 20 home runs the past two seasons before the trade.
The Rangers significantly bolstered their lineup with the acquisitions of Lucroy and Carlos Beltran, and they have to like the results so far. Since the trade deadline, the Rangers have won eight of 12, including six of their last seven.
