Look, Derek Dietrich, if you don't want to end up shirtless in front of thousands of people, maybe don't hit walk-off triples for a team flirting with their first postseason berth since 2003, okay?
Then again, the 27-year-old didn't seem all that fazed as he rejoiced, sans shirt, in the middle of the diamond after lifting the Miami Marlins to a 5-4 victory over the Cardinals on Sunday with some pinch-hit heroics in the bottom of the ninth, keeping his team one game ahead of St. Louis for the second National League wild-card spot.
Dietrich, by the way, was hitless in his previous 23 at-bats when he came to plate against reliever Matt Bowman, who took the mound with a 1.08 ERA over his last 14 appearances.
