Diamondbacks' Robbie Ray: Suffers ninth loss of season Saturday
Ray (5-9) allowed six runs, three of which were earned, on six hits and one walk while striking out 10 over five innings to take the loss Saturday in Cincinnati.
Analysis:
Ray gave up three runs in both the first and third innings while the Diamondbacks provided him very little run support, leading to his ninth loss of the campaign. He's now failed to post a quality start in five of his last six outings, and his ERA is at 4.53 on the season. He'll make his next start Thursday in Milwaukee.
