Athletics' Rich Hill: Set to throw bullpen session with cover on finger

Hill (blister) will throw a bullpen session Sunday with a covering on his finger, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Saturday's bullpen will allow Hill to keep his arm loose, but it's not really a sign that he's closer to game action, as the lefty still needs time to let the blister fully heal. He may end up not starting another game for the A's, as the team could move him before he's ready to return. While Hill has been excellent when on the mound this season, his extensive injury history may scare off potential suitors.
