The Seattle Mariners are thanking The Kid for his endless contributions to the big-league club.
On the eve of his Hall of Fame induction, the Mariners revealed they're taking a full-page ad out of Sunday's edition of the Seattle Times to thank club legend Ken Griffey Jr.:
For 13 seasons, The Kid wowed Mariners fans with 417 home runs, 10 All-Star nominations, 10 Gold Glove awards, and, of course, one incredibly smooth swing.
