Rangers' Cesar Ramos: Designated for assignment Friday
Ramos was designated for assignment prior to Friday's game against the Royals, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Analysis:
Ramos was DFA'd in a corresponding move to the activation of Jake Diekman from the disabled list. During his time with the Rangers this season, Ramos started four games and appeared in 16 total, posting a 6.04 ERA with a 1.68 WHIP over the course of 47.2 innings.
