The Cleveland Indians might be the clumsiest first-place team in the majors.
Jose Ramirez added to the Indians' growing resume of baserunning gaffes Monday when the outfielder broke for second base on a presumed hit-and-run, and basically dragged his face along for the ride.
Ramirez got a mulligan on the play when Lonnie Chisenhall fouled off the 1-2 offering from Royals right-hander Edinson Volquez.
For those keeping track at home, that's two faceplants and an errant helmet to the head for Indians' baserunners this year.
