Blue Jays' Jason Grilli: Picks up first win as member of Jays

Grilli struck out two in a clean eighth inning to notch the victory in Saturday's game against the Indians.

Analysis:

Grilli entered with the game tied at six, breezed through his inning by throwing 11 of 13 pitches for strikes, then sat back and watched the Jays' offense score three in the bottom of the frame to give the veteran his first victory as a member of the team. Since being acquired from the Braves at the end of May, Grilli has been flawless, earning four holds, one save and now a win while posting a 2.31 ERA and 21:5 K:BB in 11.2 innings (13 appearances).
