Ortiz to smash birthday pinata for lucky contest winner

David Ortiz could soon be bringing his power-hitting ways to a birthday party near you.

In partnership with airline company JetBlue, the Boston Red Sox are asking parents to send in photos of their child celebrating Ortiz's final season for a chance to party with Big Papi at Fenway Park.

The promotion follows the JetBlue advertisement released earlier this month that imagined Ortiz's post-playing career consisting of birthday crashing, and pinata smashing.

The "Party with Papi" contest is open to any child between the ages of 6-12, with the winner receiving a birthday party at Fenway Park with 19 friends and family, plus Ortiz.
