Andrelton Simmons is straight up trolling hitters now.
The brilliant Los Angeles Angels shortstop seems to find new ways to record outs that seemingly weren't possible before. Here, Simmons ran a full 51 feet - that's more than halfway from home to first - from his starting position in deep short to make a barehanded snag of George Springer's ground ball while on top of second base, just before it could squeak through the hole into the outfield, and then nab him at first with an on-the-run throw.
Remind us again why this guy's only won two Gold Gloves in five major-league seasons?
