Phillie Phanatic brings ice cream to D-Backs announcers

MLB.com

Sunday's game-time temperature in Philadelphia was a sweltering 85 degrees. That kind of heat always calls for some ballpark ice cream, which always works to cool you down.

The Phillie Phanatic, ever the gracious host, made sure to take care of the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks broadcasters as they worked through the heat. He journeyed to the visitors booth to deliver Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly some of Citizens Bank Park's finest ice cream, which Berthiaume said is "the best in the big leagues."

Sadly, the Phanatic appeared to have a cold, and let out a few large sneezes - one of which landed right on Berthiaume's frozen treat. The iconic Phillies mascot made up for his goof by planting a big ol' smooch on Brenly.

Hopefully the Phanatic got some ice cream for himself, too. It must get hot living in this kind of weather when you're unable to shed any green fur.
