Kipnis completely botches run-in with idol Griffey

Baseball players can be a little distracted as they try to get themselves in the zone before a game.
Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis, though, was so preoccupied that he had no idea he had bumped into his own childhood idol Ken Griffey Jr. at Safeco Field on Monday until his teammates teased him about it afterwards:
First pitch is still four hours away, plenty of time for Kipnis to try and grab that photo with "The Kid."
