In December, Marcus Stroman said "it' be cool" if David Price got booed in his return to Toronto, but the fans at Rogers Centre didn't offer up much of a reaction Sunday afternoon when the veteran left-hander - a principal character in the Blue Jays' magical 2015 season - took the mound north of the border for the first time since signing with the Boston Red Sox.
Jose Bautista heeded Stroman's words, however, and gave his former teammate a pretty cold reception.
During the fifth inning of Sunday's series finale, Bautista shattered a scoreless tie with a mammoth home run off Price that smacked high off the mesh foul pole, affording the Blue Jays a 2-0 lead with his sixth career homer off the 30-year-old lefty.
Welcome back, bud.
