Mariners' Wade Miley: Wins fifth straight decision Sunday
Miley (5-2) got an assist from his offense in Sunday's win over the Reds, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings while striking out six.
Analysis:
He's now won three straight games and five straight decisions, but Miley's 4.50 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 41:13 K:BB in 56 innings aren't exactly ace-like numbers, so don't expect him to keep landing in the win column. Then again, his next trip to the mound will come at home Saturday against the lowly Twins, so at least one more win seems within easy reach.
