In extra innings, every play counts, and San Francisco Giants second baseman Joe Panik ensured the game was extended with a diving play followed by a sensational no-look, hook-shot throw to get Nolan Arenado in time.
Arenado was initially called safe on the play, but after the Giants challenged the call on the field, it was overturned.
The Giants went on to win the contest 2-1 over the Colorado Rockies in the 13th inning, thanks to a Matt Duffy walk-off double.
