Watch: Nelson Cruz reaches Oakland Coliseum's CF seats
Nelson Cruz came as close as any man ever has to scaling Mount Davis.
The Seattle Mariners slugger took Oakland Athletics rookie Sean Manaea incredibly deep to straightaway center field at the cavernous Oakland Coliseum on Wednesday. His homer landed in the second deck above center field, an estimated 435 feet away, directly below the notorious tarped-off section.

Of course, it's virtually impossible for a baseball to reach Mount Davis itself, which sits high atop center field and serves as extra seats for the NFL's Oakland Raiders. Still, this is the Coliseum, a spacious park notorious for being death to power hitters, which makes Cruz's feat of strength all the more remarkable.
