Never fear, Manny Machado. J.J. Hardy's got your back.
The Baltimore Orioles third baseman dove but could only get a fingertip of his glove on Todd Frazier's ground ball, which nearly deflected into left field. Instead, it bounced straight into Hardy's well-placed glove, who recovered from the shock to fire a one-hop strike and nail Frazier at first.
Just about how you'd expect a typical 5-6-3 groundout to go.
