Lucroy is out of the lineup Sunday against the Phillies.
Analysis:
Lucroy is one of the more heavily used catchers in the big leagues, as he can be used at first base on the days when he is not behind the plate. He'll get a rare day off Sunday, however, with manager Craig Counsell electing to roll with Martin Maldonado at catcher for the afternoon contest. Lucroy will look to add to an eight-game hit streak when the Brewers open up a three-game series against the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Tuesday.
