Kevin Costner has Cubs baseball film on his radar
Kevin Costner certainly doesn't shy away from accepting lead roles in baseball films, and audiences may just see him under the bill of one of the game's most historic franchises in the foreseeable future.
The 61-year-old actor, who starred as surly catcher Crash Davis in "Bull Durham," past-his-prime pitcher Billy Chapel in "For Love of the Game," and farmer Ray Kinsella in "Field of Dreams," may just have one more baseball role left in him.
During a recent interview with Larry King, Costner said he would like to make a movie that has to do with the Chicago Cubs.
Costner wouldn't clarify exact details with King, but he did say he has to get the piece written first.
The Oscar nominee will have plenty of angles to use for the potential film, as the Cubs, who haven't won a World Series since 1908, have had their fair share of interesting storylines follow them throughout history.
Maybe a Billy Goat will make a cameo?
