 This will be the first meetings between Arizona and San Francisco this season. Almost one-third of the remaining schedules for the Diamondbacks (10 of last 34) and the Giants (10 of last 33) will be against one another.

 2018 No. 2 overall pick catcher Joey Bart made his major-league debut last night and checked in with a sixth-inning double. He also got to catch 184 pitches from five different Giants hurlers. Last night was Bart's first game above AA. He played 22 games for Double-A Richmond in 2019.

 Robbie Ray has had a tough start to his season, but on Sunday versus San Diego he threw five innings and allowed just one run. The good news was that he didn't even allow a single hit, the bad news was that he walked six (for the second time this season) and now leads the majors with 20 bases on balls in just 22.0 innings of work.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP)  Mike Yastrzemski celebrated his 30th birthday with a go-ahead home run and the San Francisco Giants beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-1 Sunday for their sixth consecutive victory.
Trevor Cahill and four relievers held the Diamondbacks to five hits, and the Giants completed their first three-game series sweep of the season.
