 The Twins have hit at least five home runs in a game nine times this season, the most such games by any team in MLB history.

 The Marlins have won five of their last six games, including winning three of four against the Diamondbacks in their most recent series. Over this six-game stretch, Miami has a 3.17 ERA and a .165 opponent batting average.

Reliever Sergio Romo went from Miami to Minnesota ... from last place to first place ... and now he's back, sort of.
On Saturday night, the Miami Marlins sent their closer, Romo, to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for minor league first baseman Lewin Diaz. The Twins also got a lightly regarded pitching prospect and a player to be named.

MIAMI (AP)  Jake Odorizzi was far from superb against Miami, yet more than satisfied compared to his last outing.
Odorizzi followed his worst big league start by pitching one-run ball into the sixth inning as the Minnesota Twins beat the Marlins 2-1 Tuesday night.
