 The Brewers are 6-3 against the Reds, sweeping the only series played at Cincinnati to open April. All three of those wins were by one run, and since the start of last season Milwaukee's 45-26 record in one-run games is MLB's third-best winning percentage (.634) in games decided by a single run.

 Christian Yelich hit safely in all 10 of Milwaukee's road games in June, slashing .391/.440/.804. On the season, he has a .407/.462/.898 slash line when leading off an inning for a 1.360 OPS -- the best in MLB among the 119 batters with at least 65 such plate appearances

 All-Star Yasmani Grandal has a .364/.548/.682 slash line with two homers and six runs scored in eight games against the Reds this year. CINCINNATI (AP)  Sonny Gray didn't want to leave the game - not with another starring performance by Yasiel Puig putting him in position to beat the Milwaukee Brewers again.
Gray talked his way into facing one more batter in the eighth inning, and the Cincinnati Reds held on for a 3-0 victory Wednesday night after they lost second baseman Scooter Gennett to a groin injury.
