 The Astros ended a season-high seven-game losing streak with a win over the Yankees on Sunday. Houston batted .132 (7-for-53) with seven RBI with runners in scoring position during its seven-game losing streak, before going 3-for-4 with RISP with five RBI in the team's win over New York on Sunday.

 Pittsburgh and Houston have played just two series since the Astros moved to the AL in 2013 -- one in 2013 and another in 2016. The teams have split six games evenly, which were all played in Pittsburgh.

Astros ace Cole faces former Pirates teammates

HOUSTON (AP)  Houston's Gerrit Cole tried not to think too much about what it would be like to face his former team leading up to Tuesday night's meeting with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
After turning in a solid performance to lead the Astros to a 5-1 win over the Pirates he allowed himself a little time to reminisce, saying that there was probably a lot of emotions on both sides.
