 The Dodgers have an 11-2 record versus the Pirates since 2017, tied for the second-best record by any NL team against another in that span (Nationals, 12-2 vs. Reds). Pittsburgh is 0-6 at Dodger Stadium during that time, getting outscored 52-14.

 The Pirates' current five-game losing streak matches their longest from all of last season. They scored only seven runs in a four-game sweep this week at the hands of the Diamondbacks and have scored just 75 on the season, second fewest in baseball ahead of only Miami (68).

 The Dodgers have scored the second-most runs with 146 despite averaging just 3.4 runs in their last eight games. They're batting .181 in that span and failed to homer in three of those games, something that happened just twice in their first 19 games while they hit .284 as a team.

Hyun-Jin Ryu's 11.50 strikeout-to-walk ratio (23 Ks, 2 BB) is the best in MLB this season among pitchers with at least 20 innings. It's the fourth best ever by a Los Angeles Dodger through four starts of a season behind Alex Wood in 2018 (22.00), Clayton Kershaw in 2017 (16.00) and Brad Penny in 2006 (12.50).

Getting healthy again is exactly what the Pirates are thinking as well after another rough home series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Pirates dropped a 5-0 decision to the Diamondbacks on Thursday and have now lost 10 consecutive home games against the National League West foe.

Dodgers look to bounce back against Pirates

LOS ANGELES (AP)  Cody Bellinger's one mighty swing of the bat was loaded with historical significance.
Bellinger hit a two-run homer in the first inning and the Dodgers set a major league record with homers in 33 consecutive home games in a 6-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday night.
