 The Braves have lost back-to-back series for the first time since July 2-8. The team's .244 batting average this month is on pace for its worst month of the season, while its .328 on-base percentage in September is on pace for its highest mark since May.

 The Phillies are hitting .218 against the Braves this season, their worst batting average against Atlanta since hitting .202 in 1989. Philadelphia has won its last two series, its first back-to-back series wins since July 20-25. They went 1-11-2 (.143) in the interim, the worst series record in MLB over that stretch.

 Wilson Ramos' .397 batting average is the highest mark by a Phillies player through 25 games with the team since Harry Walker, who hit .406 through 25 games in 1947. Ramos has at least a hit in seven consecutive starts, and he leads MLB catchers this season with a .317 AVG and .503 SLG (min. 300 PA).

 Ender Inciarte has at least a hit in 10 of 12 games against the Phillies this season, including five multi-hit games. His .340 average ranks second on the Braves against the Phillies this season (Ryan Flaherty, .368; min. 40 PA). In his career, Inciarte is a .321 hitter against Philadelphia and a .285 hitter against the rest of MLB.

 Kevin Gausman started against the Phillies while pitching for the Orioles in mid-July, taking the loss and allowing 12 hits and five runs in 5.0 innings. He has gone 3-1 with a 3.32 ERA against NL East opponents since coming over to Atlanta.

 Vince Velasquez has gone 0-4 with a 7.41 ERA against the Braves this season; of the 86 National League pitchers to start at least four games against a single opponent this season, Velasquez's 7.41 ERA ranks third worst. Teammate Nick Pivetta's 11.77 ERA against the Nationals ranks as the worst.
