The Orioles snapped an 11-game road losing streak with Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Yankees. Baltimore hasn't won a road series in an AL park since taking three of four from the Yankees from April 5-8, but it's 10-3 in its last 13 overall meetings with the Rangers and won two of three from Texas at home from July 13-15.

Texas went 4-1 on a road trip through Houston and Arizona but is 1-9 at Globe Life Park since July 1. Only the Padres (1-12) have a worse home record over that period.

The Orioles have won four of five and have produced 15 hits in each of those victories. It's the first time a team has registered 15 or more hits in four straight wins since the Twins did so from June 8-17, 2012.

Elvis Andrus is slashing .367/.407/.592 during a 12-game hitting streak, the longest active run in the majors. It's the 11th time since 2010 in which he's recorded a hitting streak of 12 or more games.

Andrew Cashner won a career-high 11 games for the Rangers in 2017 and faces his former team for the first time since joining the Orioles. Cashner went 5-5 with a 2.72 ERA and nine quality starts in 14 outings at Globe Life Park last season.

Yovani Gallardo has thrown 11.1 scoreless innings in winning two straight starts and is 5-1 with a 4.19 ERA over his last six starts. Gallardo's five wins since June 23 are tied for the most among AL pitchers.

Texas second baseman Rougned Odor has shown marked improvement during the past two months, at the plate and in the field, and has been one of the keys to the Rangers' string of mostly good play that has produced wins in five of their past six games.
The run includes a dominating 17-8 victory over Baltimore on Thursday at Globe Life Park in Arlington in the opener of a four-game series between the teams.

Odor hit his third career grand slam and Gallo and Robinson Chirinos had back-to-back homers in a seven-run fourth inning as the Texas Rangers beat the Baltimore Orioles 11-3 Friday night.
