The Blue Jays have lost seven of their last eight games against AL West opponents, including two of three to the Angels May 22-24. Toronto has averaged just 3.1 runs in that eight-game span while going 12-for-60 (.200) with runners in scoring position.

Russell Martin has walked at least once in eight straight games, matching the longest stretch of his career set in 2013. Martin is 3-for-28 over his last nine games to drop his average to .163.

Morales connected for a pinch-hit homer in the 10th inning, sending the Toronto Blue Jays to a 7-6 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday.
