The Indians dropped two of three against Detroit, but managed to win the final game of the series, 6-0. Cleveland is hitting an AL worst .218 on the road this season, and is averaging 3.95 runs per game compared to 5.82 at home.

The Astros have won seven of nine including taking two of three from the Angels. Houston's pitching has held its opponents to three runs or fewer in 10 consecutive games, the longest such streak in MLB this season.

Cleveland took five of six last season against Houston, including a three-game sweep in Houston. In those six games, Cleveland pitching had a 3.17 ERA and averaged 10.3 SO/9 while limiting Houston to a .220 batting average.

Charlie Morton is coming off a win against Texas in which he went 7.0 innings allowing just one run on four hits and zero walks to go along with a career-high 14 strikeouts.

In 15 games in May, Francisco Lindor is slashing .431/.486/.923 with eight home runs and eight doubles. Lindor ranks first among qualified batters in the AL in May in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and extra-base hits (16).

HOUSTON -- Having spent most of this season lauding his starting rotation, a quintet of pitchers worthy of any and all accolades, Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch was keen to acknowledge just how good the five starters the Cleveland Indians have relied on this season have been.
While the Astros (29-17) entered the series leading the majors in starters' ERA at 2.24, Cleveland ranked second overall at 3.42. True to that form, Astros right-hander Charlie Morton limited the Indians to one run on four hits and one walk over seven innings on Friday, pitching Houston to a 4-1 victory in the opener.

The AL Cy Young Award winner struck out 10, dominating in the early innings and pitching the Cleveland Indians past the Houston Astros 5-4 Saturday.
