The Indians have not played since Friday due to inclement weather in Cleveland. Despite losing the only game played in the Toronto series over the weekend, 8-4 on Friday, the Indians have won five of their last six games after dropping five of the first eight games this season.

The Twins have not played since Thursday because of a blizzard that went through Minnesota over the weekend. Minnesota has won three straight including a 4-0 win over the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. The Twins have scored at least four runs in nine of their 11 games this season.

The Indians won 12 of 19 games versus the Twins in 2017. Minnesota was held to two runs or fewer in nine of the 19 games. Cleveland outhomered Minnesota 30-15 last season.

Edwin Encarnacion collected 18 RBI against the Twins in 2017, the most by any hitter versus Minnesota in 2017. Eddie Rosario hit .400 against the Tribe in 2017, the highest single-season batting average (minimum 50 PA) by a Twin against Cleveland since Joe Mauer hit a cool .536 against the Indians during his MVP campaign of 2009.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP)  Ryan LaMarre started this series as Minnesota's extra player. He got the Twins a split in extra innings, and gave Eddie Rosario a memory he'll never forget.
Rosario scored the winning run in his homeland in the bottom of the 16th inning, coming around on LaMarre's single that gave Minnesota a 2-1 win over the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday night, and a split of the teams' two-game series in Puerto Rico.
