Espanyol's slim chances of advancing to the next stage of the Copa del Rey were practically erased after a 4-1 beatdown against rivals Barcelona.

After Espanyol saw two of its players receive red cards, Neymar put the finishing touches on the tie when he and Lionel Messi combined to score Barcelona's fourth of the contest.

Neymar orchestrated the play when his run around the edge of the box led to a pass to Messi, who dinked a lob into the box and hit the Brazilian in stride before unleashing a volley into the bottom right of goal.
