Augsburg's making an ambitious attempt to lure Gerard Pique away from Barcelona.
The Bundesliga club tweeted its desire to sign the Spanish centre-back Sunday, confidently revealing an Augsburg strip with Pique's name and his preferred No. 3 on the back.
The tongue-in-cheek approach can be credited to Pique's flattering comments about the German outfit. He predicted Augsburg will be a "surprise" in the Bundesliga.
Lets make it a surprise straight away, @3gerardpique. Shirt is already ready. Looking forward to you playing with us! pic.twitter.com/scLBXJQLKV
