Aston Villa reaches agreement with Cordoba for transfer of Jose Angel Crespo

A versatile defender is making the move to Villa Park.
Cordoba announced Monday an agreement was reached with Aston Villa for the transfer of Jose Angel Crespo to the Premier League club.

Crespo, a 28-year-old who can play at centre-back, left-back, and right-back, made 27 La Liga appearances last season, averaging 5.3 clearances, 2.2 interceptions, and 2.1 tackles.
His resume includes the likes of Sevilla, where he started his career, Racing de Santander, Padova, Bologna, and Hellas Verona.
