VIDEO: Behind-the-scenes look at Arda Turan's 1st day with Barcelona

While just about every football fan has fantasized about the living the life of a professional, few have likely ever thought about the process of being a player on the first day they sign with a club such as Barcelona.

The European champions provided an excellent inside look at the process of signing with them, as they released footage Thursday of Arda Turan's first day at the Camp Nou.

The video begins with the former Atletico Madrid player arriving at the airport, where he meets with Barcelona officials.

From there, Turan is taken on a bus where he discusses the best places in the city to live. It's a rare look at the process of choosing where to live, revealing where Lionel Messi prefers to live as opposed to teammate Gerard Pique.

Once in the stadium, Turan is paraded around and poses for pictures in front of a throng of reporters.

Perhaps the most relatable moment for supporters occurs near the end of the video, when the Turkish international asks his representatives to wait for him as he is stuck in a state of awe while watching new teammate Messi on one of the monitors.

Let's just hope he's able to focus on the match when he's playing along the Argentine superstar.
