Report: Barcelona signs Neymar to contract extension through 2020
Being at a club that just captured a treble - thanks largely to your presence as one-third of the most devastating attacking trio in football history - seems like the type of situation that you wouldn't want to upset.
That's precisely the scenario Barcelona star Neymar finds himself in, and it's one he would like to maintain.
Spanish newspaper Sport reports that the 23-year-old has a verbal agreement in place that will see him remain with the Catalan club through 2020, in a deal that will see the Brazilian earn €12 million per season.
ESPN FC has more details:
Neymar scored 43 goals in all competitions this past season as part of Barcelona's record-setting attack.
The formal signing will be done in August, making Neymar the club's second-highest paid player behind Lionel Messi, the report said.
