PHOTOS: Barcelona celebrate 23rd La Liga title
Another successful La Liga campaign is over at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona took the pitch for their season finale on Saturday, emerging with a 2-2 draw versus a Deportivo de la Coruna side that unbelievably scored two late goals to avoid relegation.
While Deportivo were celebrating survival, however, the Catalan club's post-match festivities involved their 23rd La Liga title, which they secured last weekend with a 1-0 win at Atletico Madrid.
Appropriately, Xavi was the focal point of the celebrations, as he confirmed on Thursday that he'll be leaving the only club he's ever known after 17 seasons to join Qatari side Al-Sadd.
The 35-year-old midfielder, who has won 23 trophies since he joined Barcelona's famed La Masia academy at the age of 11, was the one to receive the 2014-15 La Liga trophy and was tossed in the air by his teammates after giving a heartwarming goodbye to all those in attendance at the Camp Nou.
Here are some photos of Barcelona celebrating their 23rd La Liga title:
