Barcelona's Luis Suarez will not play vs. Atletico Madrid
Barcelona's vaunted front-three will not be on display in Sunday's contest against Atletico Madrid.
Striker Luis Suarez, who suffered a hamstring injury in the Blaugrana's recent Champions League match against Bayern Munich, was not included in the squad for the trip to the Vicente Calderon, which could see Barcelona crowned La Liga champions with a win.
The Uruguayan, who has taken to his new club like a fish to water, scoring 24 goals and adding 17 assists in all competitions, has returned to training, but manager Luis Enrique decided it was not worth the risk to involve him in today's match.
With the league crown all but clinched and the team still looking to win the Copa del Rey and, most importantly, the Champions League, it seems like a wise decision.
