Busquets ruled out of Barcelona's fixture vs. Rayo Vallecano due to ankle injury

Sergio Busquets won't feature against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday after suffering a gruesome ankle injury during the second leg of Barcelona's Copa del Rey clash versus Villarreal.

The announcement comes as no surprise. The 26-year-old defensive midfielder was stretchered off the pitch and replaced by Jeremy Mathieu after acquiring the injury, which stemmed from a reckless challenge courtesy of Villarreal's Tomas Pina.
